Polina and Ana migrated from Romania to Southeast Michigan several years ago. They are very proud and excited to be the owners of alteration and tailoring businesses with a history in Northville and Southfield, Michigan.
Both ladies learned to sew at the very young age of 5 years old. Polina made her first dress using a sewing machine in the 4th grade. They consider themselves lucky that they have been able to come to America and own a business where they can use their talent and apply their passion for sewing to customers they love to serve.
In the five years that Polina has owned her business and the one year that Ana has owned hers, they have both improved and expanded the existing tailor shops or alteration business they acquired. They not only updated the facilities and equipment but they have also added additional services such as shoe and leather repair.
